When you visit us for the first time we will review your medical and dental history. For your convenience, these forms can be downloaded from our website prior to your appointment. We will begin your examination by carefully looking at the oral soft tissue in your mouth. We will carefully measure the space between each tooth and the gum tissue around it. Dental x-rays are critical for a thorough periodontal examination. We request that your general dentist send your most recent radiographs to us before your appointment. If additional ones are necessary, we can take them. Dr. Jolkovsky will discuss with you all the information gathered, along with options for you to choose from concerning your periodontal or implant treatment. You are encouraged to ask any questions you may have concerning your oral health and your treatment. |
